Starting at the level of fusion, one sound hiding inside another, a slow process of individuation begins to unfold. Once set in motion, the development seems as unstoppable as it is unpredictable, and soon the relations between the sounds and the instruments, constantly changing, guide us into a space that is defined by movement.

A series of chain reactions interrupts the gradual character of the initial gesture, bursting energetically into states of highly charged rhythmical material. Suddenly, when the peak seems to be arriving, a third and unexpectedly calm soundscape opens, inviting the listeners to dwell in it, just before we hear something like the reversion of everything that happend before and the doors are closing again. Throughout the piece, the rough yet deliberate sound of the Txalaparta is piercing through. This traditional instrument from the basque country has served as a tool of work, community and resistance and is the heart piece of this composition.
